Brightspace Content is Getting Upgraded
Beginning with the Fall 2027 semester, Brightspace courses will begin using the New Content Experience by default. Additionally, Instructors now have the ability to enable or disable the New Content Experience in their own courses ahead of the change in Fall 2027. For more information about this transition, see our New Content Experience Transition page.
Giving Feedback to Peers in the Activity
Gather information from the instructor in the Read Instructions section and view group assignments.
Step 2 directs the submission to the assignment(s) and can be referred to during the submission process.
Giving Feedback to Peers
Next, is where students will give feedback. The assignments for which students will need to provide feedback will be populated here. They will not populate until that student has submitted their own assignment.
- Here, you will click on the student’s name to begin the review.
Then you will be taken to the review page for the feedback. If your instructor has added a rubric, you will be able to view the document(s) or media files and then move through the criteria. Each criterion will give space to give written feedback as well.
Click Next to confirm the feedback ratings or adjust them while comparing the criteria. Once you’re satisfied, submit the peer feedback.
In step 4, you will review the feedback that was given by another student. This dashboard will give all the criteria that were graded, along with any comments that were added by the reviewer.
Complete and close to receive a grade for reviewing feedback.
Grading will auto-populate once the student has moved through each step and completed. The total grade will be added at the end of the entire activity.
