Attendees will learn about the IFC Recruitment process as well as get an opportunity to be introduced to each of IFC chapters.
*Upper-division and transfer students may also attend.
Spring Preference Night/Final Eligibility Checkpoint
January 15, 2027听
Potential new members will complete their preference cards and participate in pre-joining programming led by the IFC executive council.
Spring Bid Night
January 16, 2027
Attendees are asked to attend wearing coat and tie to formally receive their invitation to join a fraternity and will serve as the conclusion of the joining process for the academic year.
*First-year students cannot join a fraternity until the second semester of their first year.

Fall Upper-division and Transfer Student Bid Night

This is the event in which our IFC fraternities will be extending 鈥渂ids鈥 as invitations for membership to potential members.
*Only eligible upper-division and transfer students may receive bids at this time.
New Member Education Information
The education period following recruitment lasts no more than six weeks. This time is used for member development and to teach new members about the history, traditions, structure, management and ritual of the chapter.
While it is a serious time commitment, new member education should not interfere with classes or study time. Every chapter has a scholarship program that includes academic programming and initiatives for new members.
91黑料网, and every fraternity, prohibits hazing in any form during the new member education period.
Eligibility Requirements
In addition to meeting all the eligibility requirements presented on the How to Join page, students must:
- Complete online registration (open in the fall)
- Complete grade and conduct release form.
